Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking a GitLab Administrator to support a federal government client.

Description:

Establish and maintain GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations.
Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) in GitLab, ensuring only authorized personnel can access and modify repositories.
Submit the GitLab Access & Security Compliance Report, documenting repository management, user access controls, and security policies.

Job Requirements

Experience:

Possess the knowledge and capability to administer, maintain, and optimize GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows.
Personnel must be proficient in CI/CD pipeline configuration, access control management, and code repository best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and automation skills are required to support software development teams.
Personnel must have demonstrated experience in managing Git repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure DevSecOps integration.
Experience with access control policies, automated testing frameworks, and software configuration management is required.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in GitLab administration.
Desirable but not required certifications include GitLab Certified Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

Security clearance:

Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a clearance
