Knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following business core functional areas (CFA): award management, financial management, human resources management, procurement, and property management.

Demonstrated experience (7–10 years) with progressively increasing responsibilities supporting review assessments (e.g., desk reviews, audits) for government science projects (construction and/or operations) particularly NSF, DOE, NASA, and DOD.

In-depth knowledge of CFR 200 and other OMB Federal cost/administrative regulations, particularly those pertaining to research administration of grants and agreements.

Skill in the use of standard electronic business tools, particularly Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), and Acrobat Pro.

Effective and demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact with NSF staff and engage with science community stakeholders.

Organizational and effective time management skills.

Skilled in document analysis, interviewing, with the ability to articulate, and defend opinions, preferred.

Experience in Grants Management.
